Journey up the Derwent Valley through scenic rural countryside to reach the majestic Black Rocks. Return along the High Peak Trail and Cromford Canal, learning about places that were once at the heart of the industrial revolution. Fantastic views and fascinating history. Some steep hills. (10 + stiles). Bring a packed lunch as we will stop for lunch. Suitable for older children but be aware of the terrain and distance.

Join us for a FREE beginner friendly Nordic walking taster session. Rejuvenate in the fresh air at the end of the day and learn a new skill at the same time. Please wear closed toed shoes suitable for walking on grass. Walking poles provided. (No stiles) Children over 8 years accompanied by an adult can come too.
